Toof Day!

Yes… It is that time!  We must see the dentist every six months so he can count Paul’s teeth and see if they are all there!  We are lucky and have the greatest dentist every known.  Dr. Merl Fleming of Huntington Beach is simply fantastic!  We have gone there for 30 years and he hasn’t changed a bit.  He is a funny guy who loves Pontiac’s and is Paul’s age so we get along amazingly well!! He just turned 70 and is happy working!  Paul really enjoys going to the dentist as he gets a raft of new material!

The truth be spoken!

We departed the dentist about 3:00 PM and went to downtown Seal Beach for a snack!  Main Street has many quiet little places to go!  We have a favorite little Italian hideaway where Luigi (nope! That is his name) made us some soup and a great arugula and goat cheese flatbread!  We had a glass of wine and talked about life.  Our next “appointment” in not until 5:00 PM.

Did we say 5:00 PM?  Malarkey’s here we come.  Right around the corner!  We had the Rodecker’s join us along with Luisa and Joel.  We had so much fun that we stayed past our 7:30 PM curfew and talked to Joel and Luisa until almost 9:30 PM before going home!

Oh! Luisa is the ex-girl friend of our ex- son-in-law!  Long story but great friend!

After Malarkey’s, we headed home to the boob tube to watch another mystery before crashing for the evening… Tomorrow is a big day!  Valentines Day!    We got a text with Miss Lilly and Mimmie from todays Disneyland adventure.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day

Our great granddaughter went to California Adventure and met with Miss Minnie!  We love seeing the memories being formed in their little minds!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
