We did not even get up early. We had our coffee and got ready for the Girl’s Night Out activity at the Elks. We visited our dear friends and then returned to the house to do our chores, which meant taking the trash cans out.
We watched two movies in the TV room and hit the sack around 10:00 pm.
First, we watched a romantic movie about people meeting in an airport in Montana. It was called “Flight Before Christmas”. Summary: Two strangers, who both happen to be in marketing, share a room at a bed-and-breakfast when a snowstorm strands their flight in Montana on Christmas Eve.
We watched “Arthur”. Summary: Arthur Bach (Dudley Moore) is a wealthy New York City playboy who is always drunk and rudderless. He is the heir to a $750 million fortune, but he must marry Susan Johnson (Jill Eikenberry) to inherit it. However, Arthur falls in love with Linda Marolla (Liza Minnelli), a poor waitress from Queens.
The house went dark at 10:00 pm! We must get ready for tomorrow!
