Time to Dance At Old Ranch

Sue is still fighting the grunge so we stayed at home all day resting and getting ready for this evenings dinner dance at Old Ranch!  We watched a Hallmark Mystery Movie on the tube and just rested!

Paul did NOT take pictures at the “ranch” this evening but spent his time enjoying our special friends!  The meals tonight were apparently specially good as several guests remarked how wonderful they were!  Paul did the veggie burger as he is fighting the battle of the bulge!

Vicky came alone as Del was still movin’ slow but Vicky needed to escape as the Cabin Fever was kicking in!

Did You Know? Cabin fever is an idiomatic term for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person or group ends up in an isolated or solitary location, or stuck indoors in confined quarters for an extended period. Cabin fever describes the extreme irritability and restlessness a person may feel in these situations.[1] Cabin fever is also associated with boredom.

A person may experience cabin fever in a situation such as being in a simple country vacation cottage. When experiencing cabin fever, a person may tend to sleep, to have a distrust of anyone they are with or to have an urge to go outside even in the rain, snow, dark or hail. The phrase is also used humorously to indicate simple boredom from being home alone.

Friends – Special people in our lives

After getting home, we fired up the space heater and again sat to watch a movie.  It was warm and comfy. Around 12:00 Am we declared victory over the day and hit the sack!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
