We were up at about 7:00 AM, tired from our adventure to see Bob play the drums. Irene was with us, and we invited her to Girl’s Night Out at the Elks. Sydney brought her dad, and we had a good old time. DJ Ronnie came by with flowers for the ladies.
Sydney sat with Irene and got caught up on everything. Mary and Hal, Sydney’s father, had a wonderful conversation with a lot of laughing and giggling. Of course, Bob Z, George, and I continued the usual banter. We missed Bill Capps again today! Perhaps his parole hit a glitch?
We had a fantastic steak at the Elks. It was $35 but tasted as good as the $80 ones at Patty’s Place!
The Elks had a flyer for the rest of the month, and we grabbed a copy. We want our neighbors to hear the music and dance along with us. Vada and Jim are new Elks.
We had to be home by 2:00 PM because Juan and his nephew were scheduled to come by and get the Christmas boxes put up in the attic. They were right on time. We carefully labeled BOTH SIDES of each box this year, so if they are turned around, no problem.
These boxes contain 80% of Christmas, the other 20% we added to this collection, and they went into the garage attic. We ensured Christmas went up first, followed by Thanksgiving and Halloween/Fall boxes, and that makes it much easier to remove next year.
Juan had the boxes up and stashed in about an hour. He also moved some goodies to the HeShed so I would have more garage room.
We watched a movie, went to the Swin Spa, and then turned in for the night.
