We were busier than a moth in a mitten!
First thing in the morning, we went to Disneyland Garden Walk and had brunch with Mary’s college roommate’s daughter and her family. Great fun! They came down from Camarillo to spend a few days at Disneyland.
Fiend eggs and grits, truly a transplanted southern girl!
They were excited about our new home, so we invited them to see “the mess.” The kids ran around in the back yard hopefully tiring them out for the trip home.
Getting ready to pack the car and head home.
We returned to Mary’s, watered the baby, and headed to La Habra for Lilly’s seventh birthday. All had a great time. I even saw Jeanette, my oldest, and she looked old! We have not been on talking terms for several years, and to this day, I have no idea what set her off? That’s OK; she is just missing a lot of family fun. We do not talk, and that is a good thing.
From La Habra, we went to Santa Ana and visited Bob and Donna, getting the full twenty-five-cent tour of their 1936 home! Amazing, Donna is quite an artist. Donna and Mary visited the garden, which they both love doing.
Zot! From Santa Ana to Santa Ana, we went wine tasting before dinner. We all brought home bottles of vino and met the owner/winemaker sharing little wine secrets.
We ate dinner and had so much fun, we forgot to take pictures.
The line dance begins and Donna & Mary hit the floor!
We departed the dance at 9:00 PM, returning to Bob and Donna’s place to pick up our car. We then headed for Mary’s place to crash, for tomorrow will be another hectic day!
