Decisions Decisions

I have been working next to the sink in the kitchen all afternoon. I feel drained now.

We talked all day to the real estate folks and made our final decision NOT to buy the place on the hill due to the unknowns.  We spent the morning looking at new listings.   After breakfast we did a fly-by at Jan’s, you know, “Meals On Wheels”.

Breakfast is served! – I’ve made a really hot breakfast, but I’m not one to blow my own crumpet.

Off to the Santa Ana Elks for “Girls Night Out” where we met up with Sydney and Bob Z for a wonderful lunch!

Sydney and Mary have been friends for a quarter of a century.

The Elks meals are outstanding!

Swordfish, outstanding!!

Time to head out.

Us!

3 blondes walking down a dirt road when they happen upon a set of tracks.
First blonde says, “I recognize these. They’re deer tracks.Second says, “no you are wrong. They are moose tracks”

The third one then chimes in, “you both are wrong, they are clearly elk tracks!”

They were still arguing when the train hit them.

We did another fly-by at my house to gather some goodies I needed.  Then back to Mary’s for a session in the hot tub.  On the way home, Mary had her driver’s test. She got 8 out of 10. The other 2 guys jumped clear.

The unknowns of real estate bug me and thinking about leaving my home of thirty-five year is un-nerving, at best.  But, life must go on and I am ready to move forward.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
