It’s Friday! Time To Dance!

When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

First things first, I must get the new scanner going!  This year it’s our plan to scan about 80 picture albums, each containing 100+ pictures, and gain a lot of room in the closets. So, we selected an Epson V600 scanner. It not only scans but corrects photos.

The Epson Perfection V600 Photo delivers outstanding quality scans from photos, film, slides and everyday documents. With 6400 x 9600 dpi resolution, this high performance scanner ensures precision film scanning for sharp, vivid reproductions up to 17″ x 22″ Featuring DIGITAL ICE® for both film and prints, one-touch color restoration and ArcSoft PhotoStudio, this scanner provides a complete photo restoration solution. The resolution is up to 6400 x 9600 dpi so we will not lose anything. By 7:00 AM we were having our morning champagne and plan-of-attack meeting for the day!  Yesterday my heel was bothering me and this morning it was no better so I called the doctor’s office.  The house was ready for the cleaning people so I departed at 10:30 AM for the 10:40 AM appointment.

We called Colleen on the Bat Phone and chatted with her for a while before setting out on our chores. First chore, visit the doctor!

Yes, the ol’ Achilles Tendon and heel is acting up complete with apparent bone spurs.  The doc had me set up with an Orthopedica specialist on Tuesday morning and until then, I have to stay relatively quiet.  No dancing; no jogging; no gardening!

What did I have to wait 75 years to get these???

Our house cleaners were her this morning as they didn’t work Wednesday so we dined out locally awaiting a call from the Ortho doctor.  Taco Surf, what else.  I pigged out on Chicken Fajitas and they were terrific!

Returning home, Sue read and I took a short nap in case we went to the Garden Grove Elks! We, long story short, the foot was not doing well so we stayed around the house, watched TV, and I worked on my 75th birthday website.  200+ pictures to go through!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
