Tuesday Has Arrived

A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory!

We completed it… took a week of on and off effort but it is done! The difficult part you ask…the trees but the house was amazingly difficult as the lines and eves were so alike on different parts of the house. This 500-piece jigsaw is designed by Sandy Rusinko and measures 18″ x 24″. A family is scrambling to pack everything into the car as they head out on vacation.

Again, they sky was so difficult!

I looked at the Alexa shopping list and decided it was time to go to Ralph’s Market! I actually enjoy shopping and finding new things. I got some asparagus and it was on the oven 30 minutes after it arrived home. The strawberries looked fantastic so I got some for our neighbor Vicky. It was funny as the grandkids were out front and I yelled “I have something for you”…. They came running and asked “Is it Easter goodies?” I told them (they are 4 & 6) “Yes, from the big red Easter Bunny”.

Did You Know? Okay, so no one is expecting you to pay too much attention to door handles, but perhaps you’ve noticed that all doorknobs are made of brass. This is no accident. Surfaces made of brass are more resistant to bacteria building up, helping to make doorknobs free of germs. Obviously, this is important since people will pick up germs on their hands in countless different ways and then touch doorknobs that are then touched by countless other people. But because we use brass doorknobs, germs don’t have a free for all.

As a result of yesterday’s dentist appointment, I had to make other appointments for dental work.  I needed a root canal but my Endodontist is a real whizzard!  PAINLESS!

Sue called for some assistance in the kitchen and wow..it was amazing…she was using all the goodies I got!  Take a look! We had a fantastic brunch and we topped it off with ice cream and fresh berries!

The best thing about this is the way we work together… I dice..She slices. I prep…She cooks…I clean…She seasons…We both taste. We listed to Dr. Laura as we work and shake our heads at the same time! Life is just wonderful1

After lunch, I ran over to the hospital to get some pictures from September’s brain scan. They have them but She needed to sign a release which I now have so we will make another trip tomorrow…the hospital is within walking distance form here thank goodness.

We stayed in this afternoon…I took an hour nap and then we watched S.H.I.E.L.D and Gilmore Girls before crashing at 10:45 PM.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
