Ponder-isms:
If poison expires, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?
Which letter is silent in the word “Scent”, the S or the C?
Why is the letter W, in English, called double U? Shouldn’t it be called double V?
Tuesday and all is well! The weather is perfect and in fact, so perfect it is time for a walk! Here we go for am hour of fun! Today Paul reversed course getting to Rossmoor Park after just one mile…
The spring flowers are starting to appear and the recent rains have caused everything to be beautiful! This rose stood out in the sunshine screaming “I am pretty! Take my picture!”
After getting home we made breakfast from our last bit of egg beaters! The product is really great as it lasts almost a month in the frig and frankly tastes as good as or better than eggs themselves!
Did You Know? Egg Beaters was introduced in 1972 and originally sold frozen as “Fleischmann’s Egg Beaters”. Advertisements at the time stated, “Fleischmann’s has substituted yolk-like ingredients for the cholesterol packed yolk of a fresh egg.” A 16 oz. package cost 79 cents in 1973. The refrigerated version was introduced in 1994. For a brief time, the company sold Egg Beaters With Yolk, which contained a small amount of yolk.
The product was originally introduced by Standard Brands which merged with Nabisco in 1981 to form Nabisco Brands, Inc. ConAgra acquired Nabisco’s refrigerated food business in late 1998.
Egg Beaters are sometimes included as part of a heart healthy diet.Dr. J. David Spence, a professor of neurology and clinical pharmacology at Western University and a cholesterol researcher, has recommended Egg Beaters for people who are at high risk for heart attacks and strokes.
After breakfast, Paul did some readiness for receiving the glass for th desk with Wednesday or Thursday! We watched TV in the last afternoon and early evening catching about seven episodes of Grey’s Anatomy… We are getting dangerously close to catching up with the current new release!
We got ready to see our tax lady Miss Pamela Brown. After 30+ years it is pretty easy! We go over… Drop a pile on envelopes on the desk and make small talk while she works her magic! We have an appointment to see her Thursday!
Paul is having problems with Amazon for some reason… It says the account is closed? We made several calls and finally got hold of someone who seemed to know what they were doing!
Late in the evening we had a small bite to east followed by chocolate chip cookies and some TV before crashing!
Paul seems to be hovering around 194 pounds and can’t get the next step accomplished… Might be a time for a zero food day!
It’s 10:30 PM and time to hit the sack!
