Thank Goodness, It’s Monday And Time To Rest

Paul went for a walk and is taking longer ones these days. Today it was almost four miles and it feels pretty good!

Another few miles… So far Paul has walked 70 miles since November!

Paul is down to 206 pounds, dropped from 226 at the start of October!  Only another twenty to go!  Staying away from his “drinkies: helps!  He want to be slim but NOT as slim as the decorated tree!

We headed to Malarkey’s were we were supposed to meet Luisa but her customer and kids required he to be at home, darn!

To get Sue’s strength up again, Paul asked her to push her wheelchair around the restaurant and on the trip we met a couple inlcuding their baby dog!  Always fun to meet a new dog!

The sunset was pretty spectacular… we voted and gave it a solid 8 on a scale of ten!

Sailing the bounding main, or at least the channel.  It was cool outside, in the mid 50’s!

Sailing away

The sun set and the channel light began to come on so Paul saw an interest photo-op..  Sue’s picture is a reflection ion the window, the poinsettias is inside, and the channel lights can be seen through the window.

Dang!  Paul found he lost twenty pounds and then did damage!  A bread bowl of Irish Stew!  It was terrific!

Paul went for the Irish Stew

We headed home around 7:00 PM and watched a Hallmark Christmas movie before crashing for the evening.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
