Busy Busy Busy

Up and at it early in the morning.  Paul washed down the front yard to make ready for the visitors and all the pumpkin carving activities.  We then put the final touches on the necessary pumpkin carving equipment  prior to leaving for the Himalayan Grill. Join the fun!

Luisa was pretty scary today!

Lunch was delightful although we swamped the kitchen so things came out in random order. It was fine as the food was excellent!  Now, we headed to our home for the carving activities. Join the fun!

First things first… Cleaning out the pumpkins.  This year, Paul got an idea… We tried a hand-mixer blade placed into a power drill.  Dang, it worked.  We cleaned up 15 of the pumpkins in just a few minutes!

Looks easy! (Click to see it in action)

Paul tried the new approach first to make sure the blade and drill combo was “safe”. It really worked well! Nick watched with intense interest!

Pumpkin Carving 10/28/2017

Daddy needed some help so Lilly came to the rescue! It’s amazing how much a little three-year old learns about pumpkins!

Where does one sit to see everything going on?  Right in the middle of everything, obviously!

Grandma Sue has the best seat in the house

The results were magnificent!  Works of art… Masterful creations… Worthy a museum display!

Pumpkin Carving Is Tiring!

We went to Santa Ana Elks afterwords but we didn’t stay to long.  We were pooped out!  After coming home, we watched “Friends” and crashed about 12:30 PM.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
