What? No Fireworks Today?

Our house cleaners were coming today so we had to leave and we decided to go to lnch at Cucina Enoteca in Newport.  Great choice as we both tried something new.  Sue had their new cheese bread and Paul did the soft-shelled crab sandwich.  Both were excellent albeit large!  We got their at 1:00 PM and the lunch crowd was gone and so was the noise.  We had a great afternoon!

Delicious was an understatement (Click on the pic to get a close look!)

We headed for home to get a little nap in before going to dinner… You know, retirement is rough.

We decided that Kobe Steakhouse was the perfect place to go so we called Crazy Greg and he joined us!  Paul “yelled” at Greg about being too over booked in his activities and Greg agreed.  He appreciated our concern for him and is going to slow down the hour by hour meetings and spend some more time with us, a good thing!

We watched a little TV and then crashed… We were partied out from the last several days!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
