Golf And Taco Tuesday

We played eighteen with James and it was a magnificent day!  As we were coming in about 4:00 pm James yells lou “Lookie lookie” and what was it?  We walked within a few feet of a red tailed hawk dining on a snowy egret. The pictures are not great as the lighting was terrible, we had no tripod, and he would not exactly cooperate.  See the snapshots.

Yummy yummy, good for the tummy

We finished the game and went to Happy Hour with Bunnaford, Ernie and others.   We set sail for home and watched “The Searchers” with John Wayne circa 1956. Summary: As a Civil War veteran spends years searching for a young niece captured by Indians, his motivation becomes increasingly questionable. The Searchers is a 1956 American Western film directed by John Ford, based on the 1954 novel by Alan Le May, and set during the Texas–Indian Wars. The picture stars John Wayne as a middle-aged Civil War veteran who spends years looking for his abducted niece (Natalie Wood), along with Jeffrey Hunter as his adoptive nephew, who accompanies him.

Great Western Movie

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
