We Worked!

It was an uneventful day.  We went to Home Depot and filled up on amendments and a few other goodies before returning home and working in the garden. We moved three wheelbarrows full of “supplies” to the garden.

As we get older, the gardening chores will be easier!

A few more years and planting bulbs will be easier.

You know te old saying!

STANDBY!

After putting in the new plants, it was time to water.

Watering the babies.

One of the babies is coming on strong, and we will have tomatoes in about three weeks, based on the size of these little fellows.  A friend rubbed tomato ketchup on his eyes. In Heinz sight, it wasn’t a good idea.

We have tomatoes; well, green tomatoes anyway!

We got a text from Vicky about yesterday’s post (Gardening Naked Day) :

For dinner, we did In-An-Out and garlic bread.  We were in the sack by 9 pm!  Yesterday took its toll on us; too much sun!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
