Fact: Clement Moore’s poem introduced eight more reindeer for Santa’s sleigh, and their names were Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Duner and Blixem (for the German words for thunder and lightning). These later evolved into Donner and Blitzen.
We were up and getting ready to traverse the highways at 10:00 AM; Orange to Camarillo, 90 minutes of terrifying traffic! We were off to visit Mary’s grandkids. We also had to take the van because dum dum me forgot the change the address on a few Amazon orders to Dianne, and the kids had a potting table, three garden shears, two rolls of see-through paper, and other goodies. It was a good excuse to visit them!
We had lunch at the Lure restaurant; excellent food!
At the end of lunch, Steven popped in and joined us! We got all the details about his college application activities; the boy is doing good!
We went back to their house and loaded the van with all the goodies that I had accidentally sent them. We pointed the Grey Ghost towards home, and off we went. This time we went to the 405 and caught the 22, making it home just before sunset.
I noticed that the sizing tool had been delivered to Amy. We had a deal with Amy; Amy was to wear it as a necklace to see if Joe would notice.
It really did look like a lovely necklace, and of course, Joe DID NOT notice. Well, Amy put it back on, and Joe went up close and looked. Here is what he saw up close!!
It looked like jewelry from afar!
We had a good laugh at Joe, but Joe reminded us that he does get even! Oh, dear!
Scout showed us his Christmas Cards and now he wants us to address them1
We watched a Christmas movie and had a lite dinner before going to bed at 6:30 PM; even though we sat all day, we were both tired. 180-mile round trip on the free is tiring.
