Another Busy Day!

Fact: Lightning strikes the earth 100 times each second.
Each bolt contains up to one billion volts of electricity. This calculates to about 8 million lightning strikes per day.

I shall save the day!!

We were up fairly early and headed for the gym arriving at 8:15 AM.  We worked out for 45 minutes before going home to feed the baby!  Upon getting home we took the macerated kumquats and cooked them up.  Mary stood guard over the contents to make sure it was just right!

I had a “resting cardiogram” schedule for 3:15 PM so we headed to Los Alamitos around 2:00 PM because we had errands to do.  We stopped by Tom Burns’s house and dropped off a sympathy card for the loss of Bunny last week,

R.I.P.

We went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to replenish our container supply and then to the doctor’s office for the procedure.  The process took about an hour and we did not want to fight the traffic so we stopped at Old Ranch for a drink and some nibbles.

Dining at Old Ranch

We decided to stop by and see Jan on the way home.  We shared a glass of wine with her before going home to visit the baby! We only drink wine on days that end with a “y.”

Sunset over Casa Valencia

After arriving home we decided the Swim Spa was lonely.  We soaked for a good hour and discussed the rest of the week.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
