I Can’t Go Any Faster

I used to have a handle on life, but then it broke.

We walked the baby this morning, it rather, he walked us.  It was a beautiful day, a day that should have been restful but alas, we were on the go!

All morning I was on the phone with real estate folks, escrow folks, insurance folks, folk folks…I have a cauliflower ear.  I got the final call from the escrow lady telling me $$$ was on the way.  I wrote her boss a note about how great she was as she assisted me through this process.

Moving will start next week!

We stopped by the local smog station where Mary had her truck inspected.  She is going to sell the truck this week because the two of us do not need four cars.

Besides, we have a son and two grandsons with pickups!

Mary and I joined Bob Z. and George at “Lady’s Night Out” and we had a load of fun.  I was so busy I didn’t even take a picture.

Returning home I literally crashed; I slept for an hour on the couch while Mary went through paperwork.  We are both redoing our wills/trusts; another intensive procedure.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
