Home Again; Time To Relax

Home is where the heart can laugh without shyness. Home is where the heart’s tears can dry at their own pace!

It’s Thursday and time to walk! I am still stretching my legs from sitting in the car for two days! To the bank…we got our tax refund from the Feds and it was too large to use the on-line system (that’s good news). I did 4.5 miles and it felt really good. Working toward another 1,000 mile year…staying healthy!

Before lunch, I was off to do some shopping. First things first, the wine store. I text’ed the pictures to my bride so she knew my status!

Stop #1 – Wine store and you can see our ice chest from the trip is still in the back

After the wine store, it was to Ralph’s as we are having friends over for corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day…we are blessed with our friends!

Seven pounds of corned beef… Kerrygold butter, potatoes, carrots, soda bread! It’s going to be a super party!

After the shopping spree I paid the bills and worked on the latest puzzle. It should be done by Saturday morning! The status is:

Taking shape!

After an hour of hard work at the table I then took a nap…just so I would be ready for dancing this evening.

We went to the Phoenix Club and danced for about three hours before coming home. Tookies you ask! Indeedy-Doo! They were great this evening!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
