The Weekend Has Arrivith!

It’s not fair! I have 5 kids and no money, why I can’t I have no kids and 5 monies?

We have zip going on today except for perhaps a visit to Garden Grove this evening.

I called Diane (Sue’s sister) and gave her a verbal update on Sue’s progress and expectations for next week.  Diane has been my secret crutch and has been so nice in coming down and visiting…nice to have a super sister-in-law like her (and her family).

We had a great brunch combining Indian with Mexican with Italian with Salmon…eclectic at best!  The Alexa in the kitchen alerted my of a shipment arrival and finally, I got one of the things I always wanted, a 50 ft retractable extension cord reel.  I am so tired of having to dredge up an extension for for working around the garage and in the driveway…now, the wire comes from the ceiling!

It got mounted 30 seconds after arrival!!

We spent the afternoon watching Gilmore Girls and one episode of “The Man In The High Castle”.

Today was episode #3: Joe saves Juliana from the Marshal. Joe and Juliana confront Lemuel, who leads them into the woods, where they are surrounded by resistance fighters. Lemuel forces them to give up the films and leave. Joe and Juliana are attacked again by the Marshal, causing Joe to reveal to the Marshal that he is a Nazi agent. The Marshal pursues Juliana on the highway. When Juliana gets far enough away, she burns her car and hides. When the Marshal reaches the car, he assumes that she has died. Back in New York, after he is attacked on the way to work, Smith suspects SS Captain Connolly is the informant who supplied information about his movements to the resistance. In the Pacific States, Frank heads to the Crown Prince’s speech with a gun to assassinate him but hesitates. The Crown Prince is then shot by an unseen gunman. Wegener leaves a microfilm capsule in the Science Minister’s pocket.

Quite interesting…

We decided to stay in this evening and Sue’s back was not doing well…a couple of pain killers really helped.  We binged on Gilmore Girls and had our 11:00 PM tookies before crashing.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
