A Wonderful Greek Lunch!

We took it easy in the morning watering our new tomato plants and doing “cleanup”. At noon, we headed to Irene’s home for an amazing Greek lunch.  Daughter Maria and Irene cooked for hours and it was obvious.  Great food!  Great company! The Kuhn’s and Roberts were there for the treat!  Please join us!

What a wonderful afternoon!

Always time to tease!  With this group friendly barbs are a way of life and we all get a kick out of it.  Del, who is in his 90’s, was recalling his life adventures and we all loved to hear the stories.  He is very proud of his motorcycle adventures through California without roads!  LA to Vegas cross country, wow!

He he he!

We departed Irene’s about 3:00 PM and went home to do some chores before heading for Malarkey’s for our Monday evening activity.  Irene did not join us as she and Maria were probably still cleaning up!   We had a glass of wine and watched the sun set into the ocean.  Business was a little slow so we got a chance to talk to Oscar and Jennifer.

Simply magnificent… You could almost hear the “hiss” as the sun set

We headed for home afterwards and Sue attacked the treadmill and Paul managed the TV remote! We watched an old Columbo and some Cheers before crashing!

We figured out something this evening.  Beatrice “Bebe” Neuwirth, born in 1958, played in Cheers 1986-1993 and is now in Madam Secretary as Nadine Tolliver, Chief Of Staff to the Secretary of State.  Dr. Lilith Sternin-Crane,  was the girlfriend and wife of Dr.Craine, aka Kelsey Grammer.

Bebe Neuwirth, talented lady!

It is a small world after all!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
