It Is Fall Finally As Evidenced By The Leaves

We woke up this morning at 6:15 and it was 47 degrees outside.  Paul kicked on the heater to take the chill off before starting to move. When it hits 55-60, Paul will set out on his walk! Join the walk in the leaves. It got to be 67 as a high today and we expect a 72 as the high tomorrow…  Fall is in the air!

Leaves all over

Leaves all over the yards… At least they are pretty!

We worked around the house and went to the nursery to get some planting mix as Paul got 20 three year old asparagus plants (he could not wait two more years for the small ones to be ready).  We planted the asparagus, marked them and now await spring to be rewarded with fresh asparagus every morning a for about two months!

Our microwave went on the fritz yesterday so we have a guy come by and replace the door interlock switches… We are back in business.  Paul gave it a try but it was cheaper to have someone do it than spend two weeks chasing specialized parts down!

We were getting cabin fever so we headed to Malarkey’s to watch the sunset and then to Patty’s Place for a cocktail.

The sun set at 4:53 today! It was quite pretty to watch!

We got a great picture of how we deal with gun control!  Pictures is our son and two grandsons on a trip to use their weapons!  They are looking good!

Guns laid out and ready to shoot…

We came home to watch NCIS, the Republican Debate and a little bit of the news. Nice to see how  professional journalists asks questions instead of the liberal socialist dirt bags at NBC do it.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
