We Did Chores And Danced Today

We decided not to play golf today so Paul went on an extended walk of about four miles in an hour and a half. Join the walk!

We had some shopping and chores to do!  Sue got here her  glasses adjusted and Paul bought a new pair of shoes as the old ones are beginning to wear out (after eight years).  We went to Hi-Time Liquor to get some special goodies for a friend’s birthday!  Then we decided to go to Cucina Enoteca for a drink!

The bartenders know us so Paul always orders two “infusions” and the bartenders enjoy mixing up some concoction!

We stayed there for about an hour and Lei, our favorite bartender, took our picture.

On the way home we took the Pacific Coast Highway!  The construction in Huntington Beach was in full swing.  They were pouring concrete on the third floor of one of the buildings.  The concrete pumper liked like a gigantic bug!

As we drove home, the clouds began to look like the predicted rain might actually happen!

We went home and got ready to go dancing.  We stopped at Patty’s Place for a drink and Paul got some lamb chops for dinner.  We talked to some of the locals!

We drove to the Phoenix Club and it did NOT look like rain was going to happen!  Paul walked outside and indeed, it was raining!  Connor was with us and he had to run outside and roll up the windows on his car!

Meanwhile inside the dancing was underway!

We checked our email and then crashed.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
