Forty-five years ago today, 500 million people around the world witnessed American astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and Michael Collins as they embarked on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Apollo 11 landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, and six hours later Armstrong was the first man to step on the moon’s surface, delivering those iconic words: “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
We sent to lunch with Mitch and Luisa in Cerritos. We all enjoy Indian food and had a great time ordering new things!
After lunch and some treadmill, we headed to Santa Ana Elks for the monthly “Jam Session” which is great fun with friends.
