I have Van Gogh’s ear for music!
Mary worked today, so I stayed home and fought the battle of the continuous chores; there is always something to do around a house.
Then the phone begins to ring and ring. I spent four-plus hours on the phone with my financial advisor, my CPA, my real estate agent, and finally, a loan officer. The rules have changed significantly, and it became clear that selling my properties is the right thing to do to avoid SIGNIFICANT capital gains in the future. So, I decided to make an offer on the new house. I am as nervous as a whore in church!
Later in the day, Mary stopped by after work, and I told her what I did. We decided to go to Patty’s and “celebrate.”
We returned to my place, and on the way, we got a call from Bill Capps; he and his Mary were heading to Hoff’s Hut, and we decided to join them. We had a super time and returned home at 10:30 PM. It was too late to drive back to Orange, so Mary stayed in Robin’s room.
I tossed and turned all night but on the bright side, the family will get together to do easter eggs in the morning; traditions return.
