Paul fiddled with the old iMac for a while and finally disconnected it and hauled it to see the Doc at the Apple Store. Verdict? The hard drive was going south! Paul learned that putting the machine to sleep still meant the disk was spinning so that means it had been spinning for four years! The doc said “It will be 3-5 days in recovery and $200. The old iMac should be back in excellent health again!”
Poor baby needed some TLC
We rested for a while and then headed to Old Ranch for the monthly dinner dance. We had 40 people in attendance! Everyone had a great time. Tomorrow, Temecula… Got to keep on the go!
