Relaxing On Wednesday

We stayed around the house today and did some chores.  Went to the market and stocked up on “stuff”… By that we mean anything but food!  It is amazing how much we make at home right from the garden!  We departed home about noon to go shopping for trees.

To prepare for planting, we went shopping for an avocado, fig, and grafted apple tree but to no avail.  The ones they had were poopy at best.  The nurseries said you must wait until January or February for the new supply to come in!  We went to H&H in Lakewood and then down to Corona Del Mar.  At least we got to visit the Christmas decorations again!

While we were in Corona Del Mar we stopped at Roger’s Gardens to visit. They were decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We decided to drive up to the Newport Beach Elks Lodge and have a drink and visit with friends (i.e. Whoever was around as that is a very friendly Lodge).

We decided to take PCH back home as it is a short and generally scenic drive… Not to mention romantic.

PCH had some traffic... Not bad... Just traffic

We came home and did the treadmill and hit the sack a bit early in preparation for tomorrow!  We checked on the progress of the back yard… We are moving in the right direction!
