Golf And Dancing Dancing

We took a status picture when the sun was finally up.  The individual beds are now quite visible.  We are hoping for a concrete pour tomorrow and by Monday we should be able to walk on the concrete.

We played eighteen with James today and it was good.  The weather was perfect if not a little warm (in November?).  We did a quick Happy Hour with James, Bunnaford and Angie before running home to freshen up and do dancing,

Did You Know? – A Full Moon is nine times brighter than a half or quart moon. A full moon is ten times brighter than a half moon. When full, the sun’s light is reflected more directly at the Earth, while at the quarters, much of the light that hits the Moon is reflected away – and only a small portion is scattered toward the Earth.

The moon has a rocky surface that shines only by reflected sunlight. The face is so deeply scarred and cratered that, as viewed from Earth, much of its surface is in shadow. Light reflected to our eyes is maximized when sunlight shines directly down on the center of the moon’s face —the only portion of the spherical surface that “looks” straight to us.

During a half moon, only a poorly illuminated periphery of the face is seen. The view of the moon’s face is best during a full moon, when the moon is in such a position in its orbit that the sun is behind us and the moon appears in the opposite side of the sky. That’s when sunlight best illuminates the moon’s deepest features and reduces shadows.

Stop #1 was Khoury’s… A usual good music but way too loud, not sure if we are going back!  We met up with Bernie and Donnis for a while.  We could not stand the noise so we went to the Phoenix Club were the music is soft and our ears don’t get killed!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
