We slept late this morning, not waking up until after 8:30 am. Mary is trying to come down with a cold, and I had a rough first night, as I couldn’t sleep due to coughing! Scout was somehow let outside earlier, but we do not know which one of us sent him out!
Today was busy with all sorts of things going on. We began with a quick visit to the garden. At 10:30 am, our handyman came by and he sanded and painted about 20 feet of fascia board, which faces the sun all afternoon.
He also moved a large sandbag and then relocated one of the spa heaters to the garage so I could adjust it, making it easier to start. He departed around noon. Tom has assisted us for several years now.
Mary zoomed off to her painting class at 12:30 pm, armed with more brushes than a toddler in a finger-painting competition!.
I stayed at home, waiting for the arrival of our “saltman” to drop by and deliver three bags of salt for the soft-warmer machine.
The wind was down, so I changed the flag to Mother’s Day and put up the Mother’s Day banner.

The banner looks pretty good!
After Mary returned home, we visited the garden. We got ready to leave for dinner with Vicky and Jim. Dinner was a load of fun with Vicky giving us a blow-by-blow description of their recent trip!

Vicky’s camera gave us a tour through Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
Returning home, we watched The Blacklist before crashing for the evening.
