Happy Birthday, Tony!

 GM

Estimated reading time: 1 minute

We got up early with Robin and had our coffee. We called Colleen, but she was out. Robin left around 9:00 am to visit her sister, and we got ready to leave for Whittier at 11:00 am for a noon birthday celebration at DeLuca’s Italian Restaurant. I remember when it was first opened back in 1967.

We enjoyed the party with over eighty people joining the fun.

The birthday Boy had a blast.

The cake erupted in flames celebrating 80 years!

We w]switched to the other camera, and the true Tony was revealed!

We had a wonderful meal, and we were smart enough not to eat everything; we have containers for tomorrow and probably the next day. During dessert, grandson Charlie joined us and talked about his first semester at Cal Poly and some of his classes. He is a very grown up young man!

Charlie decided to get into the party mood!

We left around 4:00 pm, went home for a short nap, and didn’t wake up until 7:00 pm!

We watched TV for a while, then crashed because we get to meet Rory tomorrow!

 Good Night

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
