Monday Went Sooooooo Fast!

This was the mondayest Monday that ever mondayed.

Mary headed for work this morning, and I headed to Mary’s house because we’re going to meet at around noon and look at two other potential places.  Mary was right on time, and we departed for Fullerton, where we saw two houses and then back to North Tustin.  One of the houses was beautiful, but unfortunately, it came with a price tag of a little over $2 million, and it was 6000 ft.².  We decided that is probably more than we need!

Mary went back to work, and I drove her to Huntington Beach. I returned to my home and planned my attack approach for packing everything up.  After picking Mary up at 4:30, we decided to grab a bite to eat because today has been so busy.

I had a brilliant idea, “let’s go to Old Ranch Country Club for dinner”  It was a neat idea, but when we arrived at Old Ranch, I remembered they are closed on Mondays; I should’ve known after all these years!

When their seal Beach and hungry one should go to Pattys Place for dinner, we did that after calling Nick to make sure we could get a nice seat. I was so tired I didn’t even use my camera today. Trying to find a new home is hard!

We returned to Mary’s house at about 8 o’clock and watched TV for a while.  What a day this has been!  Scout was quite upset at us being gone all day.  We tried to tell him of the activities entailed in selling a house.  Alas, all I got was more woofing!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
