To the mathematicians who thought of the idea of zero, thanks for nothing!
Mary came over early in her work clothes, I mean real work clothes. We thought we had straightened up thte house and were ready for the visit by Sydney. (I am thinking about making a movie entitled “Attack Of The Sydney”).
We fully expected her to say something like, “Hor cute it this, perfect! I will arrange for pictures”.
Nope, she went through the house like a tornado (a very polite and apologetic tornado) pointing out all the stuff needed to be done. Mark took copious notes, four pages on a legal pad! I nearly passed out from shock!
As Sydney departed, we looked at each other and got to work. First things first, a trip to Lowe’s to get packing boxes and bubble wrap. We packed and packed and wrapped and wrapped until we were too pooped to pop.
We called Vicky and asked her to go to Old Ranch for dinner with us, her first time out since Del passed and since the pandemic got going. We had a nice meal and shared memories of dear friend Del.
