Today I Rest; No Going Places

Give a man a gun, and he will rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he will rob everyone.

Mary goes to work today, and I rest; I think I may have overdone it yesterday as the knee gave me fits all night long.  So it is just me and Scout, The Wonder Dog.  We both sat by the window and counted the raindrops.

In order to rest, I had to sit still so I decided to put yesterday’s visit to Sherman Gardens on-line.  We really enjoyed ourselves just walking through the gardens.

I worked in the kitchen going through cabinets and drawers and removing things I never use.  No need for four mixers, multiple food processors, etc.  They now live in the garage and will be given a new home as soon as possible.

It stopped raining so Scout went back to chasing elephants and we have yet to see an elephant in the yard when he is on duty!

Scout on patrol!

After another hour in the kitchen I was getting cabin fever so I went to the market and did some shopping.

MAry got off work was was home by 4:30 PM and we awaiting Robin’s arrival so we could go to dinner.

The sky was clear for a while so I snapped a picture of the blue before the next wave of rain passes through.

The air was so clean and fresh!

Robin, MAry nad I headed to PAtty’s Place for dinner and we had a wonderful time with fantastic food.

Chuck de-shells the lobster!
