Black Friday; We Didn’t Leave The House!

I took an IQ test, and the results were negative.

Dang, it was cold again this morning, 44 degrees! We just dilly-dallied all day, not even leaving the house! We did the final checks on the Thanksgiving Day website, and we emailed the flyer about the New Year’s Eve dance at Old Ranch.

I installed Grammarly a few weeks back and am just now discovering some of its features.  The summary of this post is:

Grammarly’s analysis

The high today was 53, and it is raining again and 45 degrees at 11:00 PM!

We watched two Christmas movies again.  First was “The Santa Claus 2”. Summary: Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) has been in the role of Santa for the past eight years, and his loyal elves consider him the best one ever. But the world of the “Merry Old Soul” turns upside down when he’s dealt a double whammy of news: Not only has his son, Charlie (Eric Lloyd), landed on this year’s naughty list, but Scott discovers that he must marry by Christmas Eve — just a month away! — or he will stop being Santa Claus forever.

Great movie!

Then we watched “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.”  Summary: A college student faces an impossible journey when he is left stranded in the desert, thousands of miles from home, with no money and only a few days left until Christmas.

Twenty years old and still funny!

We did some “Boston Legal” before hitting the sack! Oh, we did tookies also!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
