Happy Birthday Bunnaford & David

We worked around the house today knowing that we had loads of fun planned for this afternoon.  Speaking about afternoon, we went to the dentist and Paul got the filling restored.  It fell out about a month ago!  All is well.

You ask why is the dentist fun!  Well, Dr. Flemming is the same age as Paul and when they are together they  scream, shout, yell, shriek, hoot, holler, vociferate, outcry, bellow, laugh and giggle like two school kids swapping stories about things that never really happened.  Plus, the doctor is painless!  He is a very nice person and quite funny!

We stopped by Old Ranch to celebrate Bunnaford’s XXth birthday.  We do not know how old she is but the fire department was on standby in case she wanted a cake again this year.  Great fun. Good friend!  The wine flowed.  Well, not very much, as we had another birthday to celebrate and we are careful about driving!

Bunny’s age is CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET

After Old Ranch, we headed for Kobe (two blocks away) and joined Irene, Greg and David at the teppan table to celebrate David’s 93rd birthday!

While Paul was armed with his old trusty Canon 60D, it died!  Paul could only use the iPhone and they lighting was not great!  What is wrong? We will soon fine out.

The meal gets underway

Flames say “Come and get it”.  We did and it was excellent plus a lot of fun.

Fire in the hole!  The volcano of onions shoots fire  hundreds of millimeters into the air!

The volcano made from onions is always enjoyable… Howls and squeals of delight come from everyone!

Well, we know the food is cooked!

Shrimp and scallops… Cooked perfectly!

Paul and David enjoyed the fish as did Irene

Happy Birthday David…. and many many more!

David says “I am looking forward to by 100th birthday”

We headed for home and rested as the rest of the week is going to be full to the brim with activities!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
