It’s Wednesday And Time For Golf!

The COPD medicines are working so well, Paul took an hour walk around the neighborhood before lunch and then played nine holes of golf!  The walk was super.  Paul’s back was hot when the Sun shined on it and his front was cool walking into the prevailing breeze.  Paul did not do the full hour as he had to get back for lunch and get ready for golf!

Chugging down the avenue

Seems like Spring as the flowers were beginning to come out all around the hood!  Even the roses are sticking their heads out… Perhaps awaiting the rain?  We are supposed to get two or three more inches on Friday!

Mother Nature is strutting her stuff

The flowering trees were spectacular up against the beautiful sky!  We have hundreds of these beauties all around the neighborhood!

Magnificent sky!

Did we say yellow?  They seemed like they were speaking right to the Sun saying “Bring it on baby!”

The sun was quite warm… Almost like spring

After lunch, we headed to Old Ranch to do nine holes.  The ground was still somewhat wet and two of the holes were “Cart Path Only” because of all the rain we have had!

Friday we get two more inches of rain

We are going to attempt to play Thursday also as long as it is not too cold!  Fridays forecast is predicting 3.26 inches of rain!  That will be a lot of rain in 24 hours here since the ground is already soaked through.

Weather is coming!

These lakes will overflow onto the fairways as Old Ranch cannot dump the water into the drainage ditches until the local retirement community agrees.  Without their consent, we might flood them!

Time for golf… The water hazards are indeed that…  Quite mushy!

After gold, we had a drink at Old Ranch and then went across the street to Kobe Steakhouse where we met up with Bunnaford.  After a while, our guest for the event, Arturo, joined us and we dined on sushi/sashimi  until we were stuffed!  Great fun!

Home to the treadmill and we watched anothe Hallmark “Garage Mystery”…  We love the twists and turns!  What are “Garage Sale Mysteries” about?  Jennifer Shannon (Lori Loughlin) can always find a diamond in the rough – when it comes to garage sales, that is! Whether it’s a new antique to sell at her consignment shop, an Atari game for her son or a piece of furniture for her handy husband Jason (Rick Ravanello) to refurbish, she has made a career out of her treasure hunting prowess. But, when a string of burglaries hits her town, Jennifer must use her keen eye for detail and her natural problem solving instincts to help her piece together the clues and catch the criminal, before it’s to late!

Working with Detective Adam Iverson (Andrew Dunbar), Jennifer puts together a theory that the perpetrators of the burglaries are fellow garage sale regulars. The case escalates to dangerous levels when Jennifer discovers the dead body of her friend. And, even though the vicitms husband, Ben Douglas (Cameron Bancroft), finds nothing missing in their house, and the police label the death as accidental, Jennifer suspects that the death may be related to the burglaries.

So, with her treasure hunting skills and problem solving instincts, Jennifer finds and pieces together clues to the burglaries and her friend’s death. But as she gets closer to the truth, Jennifer learns that crime solving can be far more dangerous than any garage sale! Can she uncover the “Garage Sale Mystery” before it’s too late, or will her investigation create problems that not even Jennifer can solve.

We ended up the evening with Cheers and crashed about 12:15!
