We have been retired almost ten years so everyday is the weekend to us. We only watch out for their weekends because of planning our events not wanting to get into a crowded situation! On saturdays, we try to let the workers enjoy things like golf, etc.
Paul is on the mend while it appears Sue is catching a cold! We stayed home and watched movies most of the day! Paul took care of Sue.
Around 4:30 PM we went to Old Ranch for a drink before going to Garden Grove. While we were there it began to rain. Just what we need more of! Paul took pictures of “Chop House Night” which is a new dinner event at Old Ranch. All you can eat for $40 but they had the best looking prime rib, steak, lamb chops, seafood that we have ever seen! The place was jumping!
We then went to Garden Grove Elks and met up with the gang. The Branders were there along with Pat and Margot plus Mike and Bridgette!
We do not know how the subject got to sleep number beds but we all laughed until we hurt with wise cracks coming from all corners of the table.
It was Bob and Donna’s anniversary so we brought a card and danced and dined until about 10:00. Great fun filled evening.
After the dance, we went home (only about 14 miles away) and watched some TV before counting the sheep!
