Back Into History With The Lane Victory

Six times a year, during the summer, the SS Lane Victory leaves port for an all day adventure in order to teach people about the Merchant Marine in WWII.  It was fun, entertaining, and educational!  A great way to spend a Saturday!  What a wonderful day with great friends, new found knowledge and a super day!  We sailed to Catalina, were attacked by the German Air Force, attended a solemn memorial, and went to a museum!  Life is good.  Please joint us in the adventure….

Pageant Of The Masters Evening In Laguna

Vicky did it again… She got front row seats for the Pageant and we had Jan and Brian Finch join the party.  Sue and I got to Laguna  a bit early and had a drink at Tivoli Too and then walked to the beach for a stroll before joining everyone on the festival grounds and having dinner.  Please join us!

Great Day At Sea World

It is the end of summer and time to celebrate going back to school so the Duda’s joined us at Sea World with Nick leading the parade!  We had a load of fun!  Please join us!

We’ve Been Working on The Railroad!

Wow! What a trip! Forty-two of us departed Union Station at 7:30 Saturday morning and headed to Santa Barbara for an afternoon of wine tasting, sight seeing, and other “adult activities”.  We all had fun and there are almost 800 pictures on the site for all to share!  Please join us!

Off To The Fair For Visit #2

Old Ranch was having an event so we decided to go to the OC Fair again! we slowly walked the places we did not see on Saturday and enjoyed it.  we capped the evening with the hypnotist and even met up with Ron and Cathy Jessner!  Come join us!

Monday Is Wife (And Art) Appreciation Day

Our tradition is to go to Laguna Beach on Sue’s birthday extended weekend.  We go to the Sawdust Festival, Art-A-Fair, Pageant Of The Master’s Grounds, and a walk on the beach! It’s fun to just walk around and see the talent of so many people in one place!  Tivoli Too for lunch!  Please join us!

San Diego Fair Here We Come

It’s time to go to the San Diego Fair… The first fair of our season.  Vicky and Del joined us for a terrific day.  We left home at 8:45 and arrived about thirty minutes early!  We walked for about eight hours seeing all the sights.  With Vicky, Del,  Sue and Paul it was a giggle filled afternoon!  Please join us!

Temecula Here We Come

Time for a road trip to Temecula to taste wine and have a great lunch at the Thornton Winery!  We met Laura and AJ who we have known for years.  We have traveled to the Panama Canal and to Midway island with them in the past.  Please join us!

Bus Ride/Wine Tasting With The Duda’s

Robin and Bob Duda invited us to go wine tasting in Temecula but in a unique fashion… On a bus! We left from Boeing’s HB facility at 7:30 am and tasted in several locations. We went to the Pechanga for two hours (although we don’t gamble) and returned home at 7:30 pm.  Bob and Donna Zaitz were also in the area and they joined us for lunch! It was a good adventure and told us a lot about bus travel that we had forgotten! Please join us! or see the movie

Laura and AJ are now living in Sun City.  We met them on several cruises and they are dancers.  We decided to go to the shore and have lunch and catch up on things! We decided San Juan Capistrano was about half way and was going to be cooler that the desert! Join us or see the movie

What, no golf?  Yup!  The course has a special event so we get a day off!  We decided to take the train from Fullerton to the USS Midway, a two hour chance to relax and leave the driving to the engineer!  Please join us for the fun!
