Back Into History With The Lane Victory
Posted on August 21st, 2010 No commentsSix times a year, during the summer, the SS Lane Victory leaves port for an all day adventure in order to teach people about the Merchant Marine in WWII. It was fun, entertaining, and educational! A great way to spend a Saturday! What a wonderful day with great friends, new found knowledge and a super day! We sailed to Catalina, were attacked by the German Air Force, attended a solemn memorial, and went to a museum! Life is good. Please joint us in the adventure….

Pageant Of The Masters Evening In Laguna

Sue and I got to Laguna a bit early and had a drink at Tivoli Too and then walked to the beach for a stroll before joining everyone on the festival grounds and having dinner. Please join us!

We’ve Been Working on The Railroad!

Forty-two of us departed Union Station at 7:30 Saturday morning and headed to Santa Barbara for an afternoon of wine tasting, sight seeing, and other “adult activities”. We all had fun and there are almost 800 pictures on the site for all to share! Please join us!

San Diego Fair Here We Come

We left home at 8:45 and arrived about thirty minutes early! We walked for about eight hours seeing all the sights. With Vicky, Del, Sue and Paul it was a giggle filled afternoon! Please join us!

Bus Ride/Wine Tasting With The Duda’s
Posted on October 3rd, 2009 No commentsRobin and Bob Duda invited us to go wine tasting in Temecula but in a unique fashion… On a bus! We left from Boeing’s HB facility at 7:30 am and tasted in several locations. We went to the Pechanga for two hours (although we don’t gamble) and returned home at 7:30 pm. Bob and Donna Zaitz were also in the area and they joined us for lunch! It was a good adventure and told us a lot about bus travel that we had forgotten! Please join us! or see the movie
