Rainy day and we cancelled golf today and instead got our car serviced, went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen, and went to see “Puss In Boots“. Summary: A story about the events leading up to the sword fighting cat’s meeting with Shrek and his friends. It was OK but not as funny as we expected it to be.
An OK movie and great on a wet afternoon
When we got home we needed to get formal and go to the Rondaliers Dance Club in Altadena. As we left for the journey, the sky was threatening.
There was rain in the area this evening
We had much more fun that we expected to and the people were very nice. We expect to go back! The dance was at the Altadena Town and Country Club which is about a 35 mile drive from our home.
The venue was perfect… Great floor and excellent music.
We made it back home by 11:45 and pretty much crashed.
