Sitting Superbowl Sunday Seemed Silly

Scout is getting lazy!  We got up at 7:00 am and had to step around his majesty sprawled all over his bed.  We asked if he would like to go outside, and we got the “evil eye,” so we tippy-toed around him until his majesty barked, indicating a desire to move.

Mid-morning, we decided to do our errands before the game started,

While we were out and about, we decided to stop at Taco Mesa on Chapman.  Their food is delicious and we use them when we have parties at the house.  We did tacos and burritos; Mary found the hot sauce, and I applied it liberally over everything.  I reminded Mary to get two quarts of ice cream: one to eat and one to sit on. The flavor did not matter!

Mary was being watched over.

Mary walked each aisle, and I followed with my cart.  The cart did pretty well as it careened around corners with the horn blaring and lights flashing.  The smell of rubber tire smoke permeated the market.  The exhaust fumes from both the cart and me left a trail that cold be following by the legally blind.

I hotrod around the store getting the goodies from our list!

We headed home and watched Royal Pains before jumping into the hot water and soaking away our pain.  We stayed in the water for about an hour and went inside to watch the game.

Not being a football fan, I spend a little time finishing off our “Vacations Site.”  I collected several individual locations and moved them under one single location.  I discovered I’d been to Hawaii seven times, I had forgotten two of the visits!

Mary crashed at about 8:00 pm, and I followed about three hours later.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
