Christmas Day; Time For Family & Friends

Fact:  The Curious World of Christmas lists Werner Erhard as the record holder for sending the most Christmas cards in a single year (December 1975) at 62,824. Standard postage at the time would have run $8,167.12, or around $30,783.76 in today’s dollars.

You can see all the pictures right here!

We are celebrating today and having family and dear friends come over for a Chinese dinner!  Yang Ming brought the meal last night at 9:30 PM, and we heated everything up just before everyone arrived.

We are ready!

Donna and Bob joined us for a tour of the new Casa Valencia Garden.  We can hardly wait until summertime when the big veggies are in full bloom!  Now we have to settle for winter veggies.  The strawberries are looking good, and our cabbage is coming right along.  A few more weeks and the berries will start to bloom.

Did you hear about the gardener who went crazy? He was hearing voices in his shed!

Garden tour time.

Mary still has the broken wing, so we tried to make her sit and take it easy; an impossible job for sure!  I asked her, “What do you call an Irishman with two broken arms?”  She mulled over the question, but before she could answer, I spouted out, “Sober!”

Mary had to sit; a difficult job!

Ah ha, the Robin pose!  It is becoming world famous!  Always remember, a smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart.

Robin gave us the Robin pose!

The guys are eating up a storm, and I am sure Greg is NOT innocent!

Innocent? No way!

Enjoying each other’s company as we do every holiday season.  The only improvement would be to have Colleen, Joe, and Becky join the festivities; perhaps next year??

Dad & daughter!

Bob had to show us his underwear; OK, just his socks!  We were worried for a bit. After Bob told Donna that black underwear turned him on, Fonna didn’t wash Bob’s underwear for a month.

A little risque!

Bob is convinced there are pierogies hiding somewhere in the kitchen!  We have not given up the hunt, yet!

“Where is my pierogi?”

The mulled wine fumes wafted over to the breakfast table, and Mary came running to check it out.  We got the OK to pour.

Quick check!

We had a great evening, and now we settle down with Robin, Bob, and Scout, The Wonder Dog.

Scout finally visits Mom!

A new reindeer?
