We are celebrating today and having family and dear friends come over for a Chinese dinner! Yang Ming brought the meal last night at 9:30 PM, and we heated everything up just before everyone arrived.
Donna and Bob joined us for a tour of the new Casa Valencia Garden. We can hardly wait until summertime when the big veggies are in full bloom! Now we have to settle for winter veggies. Did you hear about the gardener who went crazy? He was hearing voices in his shed!
Mary still has the broken wing, so we tried to make her sit and take it easy; an impossible job for sure! I asked her, “What do you call an Irishman with two broken arms?” She mulled over the question, but before she could answer, I spouted out, “Sober!”
Ah ha, the Robin pose! It is becoming world famous! Always remember, a smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart.
The guys are eating up a storm, and I am sure Greg is NOT innocent!
Enjoying each other’s company as we do every holiday season. The only improvement would be to have Colleen, Joe, and Becky join the festivities; perhaps next year??
Bob had to show us his underwear; OK, just his socks! We were worried for a bit. After Bob told Donna that black underwear turned him on, Fonna didn’t wash Bob’s underwear for a month.
Bob is convinced there are pierogies hiding somewhere in the kitchen! We have not given up the hunt, yet!
The mulled wine fumes wafted over to the breakfast table, and Mary came running to check it out. We got the OK to pour.
We had a great evening, and now we settle down with Robin, Bob, and Scout, The Wonder Dog.
