Lazy Day; We Worked Only Eight Hours!

Don’t you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.

Another day another load!  Mary attacked her closet while I went shopping for lights for Mary’s dining room (the type in the ceiling is not available anymore).  Mary has a handyman drop by and spackle the holes in the walls and take down some curtain rods; she does not allow me on a ladder anymore, probably a good idea.

We did lunch by going to The Crazy Chicken (El Pollo Loco) on our way back from getting Scout; it was his spa day! The company is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, and operates about 500 (as of January 2019)  company-owned and franchised restaurants in the Southwestern United States.

We returned to Mary’s so she could finish the kitchen and then her closet.  I dashed off the Casa Valencia for a bit to install lights, get the mail, and do other miscellaneous tasks.  When I returned to Mary’s, I put one of the replacement lights.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
