Dentist And Pre-Packing; A Full Day!

People who take care of chickens are literally chicken tenders.

We were up at the crack of dawn since I had to be with the dentist at 8:30 AM sharp.  Dr. Annie has me for four hours of pain and torture.  Mary came with me, and you know, having her there holding my hand made the pain significantly less!

Dr, Annie Nagel is amazing; she is the real painless dentist.  I did tell Dr. Annie, “The man who invented Velcro has died. RIP.”  She poked me, but it was well deserved.

I look human again!

After the appointment, we went to Rockwell’s for lunch, and I had a salad and a glass of pain-killer.   Mary sometimes asks me about my quirks”.  Well, I always knock on the fridge before I open it. Just in case there’s a salad dressing. From there, we went to Mary’s, and I began working in the garage, getting all the tools ready to go.

We are regulars now! I’ve just written a song about tortillas – actually; it’s more of a rap.

I made one trip about 3:00 PM, and while at Casa Valencia, I changed from pants to shorts and got a T-shirt; it was HOT.  Mary checked up on me, and I told her, “A newly found pyramid in Egypt actually had a garage. There’s a sign on it saying Toot and Come In.”

By the end of the day, we made two runs to casa Valencia with garage items and a few from the house.  Tomorrow we start again.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
