I accidentally handed Mary a glue stick instead of chapstick. She still isn’t talking to me.
Mary stayed at her house and worked her tail off, going through each of the upstairs rooms.
On the other hand, I went to Casa Valencia and made room for Mary’s goodies. Things are looking up. She moves on the 6th and 13th! I walked the backyard checking in on the veggies.
We do have birdies, and they like the veggies, so we decided to move the wind-socks from Mary’s to Casa Valencia. They did their job quite well; the birdies have all but disappeared from the veggies!
The green beans are beginning to climb the steel frame, and soon we will have mountains of green beans. This weekend I am going to make tomatillo sauce from the tomatillos in the next bucket over!
We met up about 11:00 AM and went to “Girls Night Out” and jabbered with the gang for an hour or so.
At noon, I confirmed that the funds were transferred from escrow to my account with money-bags; life is good. We can begin the things we want at Casa Valencia, and we have plenty of funds to use. Yeah, money!
The movers came over at 2:00 PM to assess the situation before the move. He was the owner of Ortega Movers, and we told him what a great job his crew did during my recent move. We showed him the stack of paper from the previous move, and he was happy to send someone over to get the paper and boxes to save some money.
At 5:00 PM, Dianne assisted Mary in going through her gowns and other belongings in the upstairs bedrooms. While they did their activity, I popped over the Casa Valencia and moved everything out of the exercise room, the new home for Mary’s dance costumes. Next, I moved my excess clothes to the guest bedroom.
Returning to Mary’s, we decided the Swim Spa needed a pair of visitors. We soaked for an hour and then crashed. It was another hard day of move-prepping.
