Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.
6:00 AM, and we are on the go! Mary got into her work clothes and headed to “the closets” while I headed to Casa Valencia to complete the garage and begin to move my clothes into other areas of the abode; Mary needs to have her stuff together!
While talking to Mary, I told her, “The other day I saw a large number of bread rolls moving rhythmically to music. They were doing it in a-bun-dance.”.
A phone call from money-bags, my financial advisor, was expected but alas, no Bueno today. We are expecting a rather large monetary transfer from escrow to money-bags, and that will “seal the deal.”
While talking to Mary, I moved a table and asked her, “can you give me a hand?” She started clapping.
Bob Z. called about 11:00 AM and said he was heading over to assist us in moving the bed, sans the mattresses, to Casa Valencia from the hilltop. Well, first we delivered a van full of goodies to the Salvation Army, and then we headed to El Pollo Loco for lunch.
We arrive at Mary’s at about 12:30 PM, had lunch, and headed upstairs to disassemble the bed. All was going well until two of the screws got stripped. Bob and I worked for an hour attempting to remove the screws, but alas, we have to call in the gorillas, Zack and Joe, and horse the entire headboard down the stairs in a single piece. EZ-outs do NOT work! Poof!
Dianne came over to assist Mary in going through her closets, and that was good. They are thirty-year friends, and a lot of the emotions are handle by the ladies themselves. I will say that Mary had been brave and is donating a lot of things.
At 7:30 PM, they were still going through things, so Scout and I sat and rested; Resting is a good thing.
We jumped into the swim spa about 8:00 PM and soaked for 45+ minutes; it makes sleeping a lot easier!
