Things Are Moving Along!

What part of the chicken can you make music with? The drumstick.

Today we did nothing, zip, nada.  This week was tough getting the house staged.  I was on the phone with the real estate folks and watched some TV.  Laziness: The habit of resting before you get tired.

I know how they feel!

At 4:30 PM, we went to the Post Office, but alas, the place was in lock-down.  Perhaps it was because of the COVID-19.  We will have to get our stamps tomorrow.

Off to Chino and a new place to dine which turned out to be great!   The four of us talk, laughed, and giggled our way through dinner.  I entered what I ate into my new fitness app out of curiosity, and it just sent an ambulance to the restaurant.

Bob, Donna, Mary, me…Pre-dancing dinner; we opted for a change from PF Changs!

Then it was off to the dance studio where we tripped the light fantastic.  Huh?  Let me explain: to “trip the light fantastic” is to dance nimbly or lightly, or to move in a pattern to musical accompaniment.

We danced until 9:00 PM, and I got tired; poppy needs to go home.

Tomorrow Mary works, and I have errands to do in Los Alamitos.  We expect Mary will be done by noon as we have to go to the new house to meet with the geologist and my geologist (Joe).

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
