Have you ever tried to eat a clock? It’s very time-consuming.
Friday, the day before Halloween, and all is well so far. I arose and looked out the window, and it was foggy, like of olden days. I thought at first it was a witch’s spell, but alas, it was just fog. I needed some groceries, so I jumped in The Silver Fox and trundled off to Ralph’s market.
I wondered if Mary would hit fog going to work in Huntington Beach, so I called her and reminded her to drive safely.
Returning home, I put away the groceries and did a load of wash plus did some straightening up.
We are doing Thanksgiving at my house this year instead of Old Ranch as they are still under construction. It has been a tradition since Sue and I were together in the late 1980s. I decided the tradition should continue as that’s what Sue would want.
This year Robin is doing the cooking! We will have the Zaitz, Brander’s, Duda’s, Chartier’s, Crazy Greg, Irene, and hope Connor and his lady! Mary will join us, so that will make it a full house.
Oops, I forgot, we have a special guest, Bark The Wonder Dog, otherwise known as Scout!
Mary and I planned to meet at her house around 5:30 PM and fix some dinner and watch scary Halloween movies. I introduced MAry to “Halloween Town,” the series.
After the movie, I headed home; we will probably watch the other two tomorrow.
