Sunday And Things Are Beginning To Solidify!

“Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.” – Benjamin Franklin

We stayed around the house most of the day until cabin-fever got to us.  Sue remembered we had a gift certificate for brunch at Old Ranch because it was my birthday month.  We brunched, and it was terrific.  Bacon and I go back a long way, and we met up again this morning!

Returning home, I began the task of going through the surprise birthday party picture, all 175 of them.  The one below was taken as I entered the room and first realized the trap set by Robin & Colleen.  Wow!  I was positively surprised!

Sneaky Colleen & Robin

Later in the afternoon, I collected all the Christmas goodies throughout the house and put them into the middle bedroom where I will wash what needs to be cleaned and pack everything else!

Later on, we binge-watched “JAG,” starting from Se4ason 1 Episode 1. Great fun!  We crashed early as we are resting up for New Year’s Eve, which will be amazing!

Before crashing, we looked through 2017’s New Year’s Eve party to see if there is anything we are forgetting.  So far, so good!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
