Hump Day; The Sickness Has Go To Go!

Whenever someone calls me ugly, I get super sad and hug them, because I know how tough life is for the visually impaired.

Alexa was set at 4:30 AM, so I would not miss the medication time.  She woke me up, and I lept out of bed and headed for the kitchen.  I slept in the middle bedroom last night so as not to keep Sue up with the coughing.  I finally got a reasonable night’s sleep but did not know if I coughed because I was asleep!  I often think I am going to cough up a hairball after coughing so hard!

Before Sue got up, I turned on the radio and was listening to the craziness going on in what should be our legislature.  The lefty-loonies are better than Abbott and Costello when it comes to silliness!

Cuckoo’s on parade!  It doesn’t get better than this!

I bought a new office chair for, ready, the office! I should have does this years ago! Perfect height, totally adjustable, and a mere $250.  I decided to get one for so Sue can sit with me comfortably.  The old dining room chair will be relegated to the garage or the Salvation Army!

Sue’s heart doctor called three minutes ago, and I just turned the new chair around, kicked the floor, and glided into a position to answer the phone.  It was so lovely to glide over! The appointment made for tomorrow; life is good!  We now need another chair!  It sounds like a “Staples Run” is going to come about shortly.

We didn’t leave the house today, and I slept on and off.  By 10:00 PM, I was done, tried to go to bed, but the horizontal position was not comfortable.

On four hour increments, I crawled to the meds and took them religiously.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
