Sunday Has Arrived And Are Ready To Celebrate

Celebration has many different outfits but she always wears the same beautiful dancing shoes”

We arose early and attacked the puzzle with a vengeance. Unfortunately, the puzzle attacked back. Thirty minutes and eight more pieces in their proper places. At this rate, it will still be on the table at Halloween! The puzzle must get completed as we need space for the pumpkin carving activities!

We cleaned up, consulted a map using Mapquest.com, and headed the Silver Ghost up the 605 freeway toward La Habra! Zack and Becca live right around the corner from El Cholo on Whittier Blvd. We chose it to make it easy on the kids!

We arrived first so we could get in a glass of wine and a margarita before the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids arrived.

Zack and Robin…Forces to be dealt with!

Did we put away the food or what? The table was in overload and the margarita’s and beer flowed nicely. Nick joined us today making it extra special!

We are lucky enough to have a close family. We missed Joe and Amy today but they had some family business in Temecula. We will be seeing Joe and Amy next week! Plans are underway for pumpkin carving…yeah!

Lilly sure likes the boys. She was all over Grandpa Mitch and Uncle Connor and had to tell Papa (Me) everything she knew several times! The soccer game and Remy falling out the back door seemed to be the highlights this week!

After returning home, we took a well-deserved nap. The Mexican food was superb and the stop at Coldstone Creamery did us in! Later in the afternoon we watched some TV and finally crashed at about 11:00 PM.

It’s finally feeling like Fall is in the air as the outside temperatures are getting into the mid-fifties! Pulling the blankets up to my neck just seems like the right thing to do! To me, it feels so good! Not so much for Sue who prefers the warmer temperatures.
