Monday And We Are Ready To Go!

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

So I am laying in bed and Alexa goes off! Her message to me, should I accept it, was to get my butt outta bed and go to the Long Beach Airport to pick up Irene. I knew I was supposed too do that but for some reason I lost track of the date. Easy Piezy! We live a whole 15 minutes from the airport so off we, the Silver host and I, went.

She was due in at 8:18 AM but due to the magic of the iPhone and the internet, I tracked her flight…8:28 AM was the current prediction. Instead of driving around in circles, I parked outside the airport on Willow and listened to music and talk radio until 8:28 AM at which time the ol’ Silver Ghost started up and headed to the pickup zone in the airport…Irene was there and ready to go!

Love my talk radio!!!

Irene was dropped off at her house which is a while eight minutes form the airport and then we headed home to check in with Sue. We worked on the puzzle and made great headway…we have a chance of completing it this week!

To the shop for a while to continue diddling with its organization. With the old iMac out there, I can do some of the Daily Diary work as the previous day unfolds in my rather limited memory!

We had a lite lunch as we are going to the Himalayan Grill to celebrate Chuck’s birthday (Chuck is our bartender from Patty’s Place). He and Lisa drove up from the Dana Point area. We had so much fun that I didn’t even snap a picture. We laughed and giggled for two hours. They liked to food so much we ordered four of the items again and sent them home with a “care package”. Great fun!

Back home we watched TV after I sat in the hot tub for 30 minutes. 100 degrees and strong current/bubbles really feels pretty good!

Dang… Nothing happened!

We had our tookies about 10:30 PM and crashed at 11:15 PM…tomorrow is another full day!
